Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students
There are various kinds of scholarship programs for privately financed international students. Non-degree seeking students can apply for several kinds of scholarships.
Please contact the faculty office and the Inbound and Outbound Student Affairs Office and check website of the foundation for further information.

Private foundations offer scholarship to international students (Hereinafter; private scholarships). Private scholarship can be divided into following 2 types.
Type 1 : Scholarships that applicants should apply by "The Privately Financed International Student Scholarship Candidates Application System"
This type of scholarships has limitation of number of applicants for each university, so 蘑菇传媒 selects applicants to be recommended.
In 蘑菇传媒, only those who applied to "The Privately Financed International Student Scholarship Candidates Application" can be selected as applicants to be recommended for this type of scholarships. We provide the information of "The Privately Financed International Student Scholarship Candidates Application" every July of the previous year, so those who want to apply for private scholarship type 1, apply for the system previously. Here is the list of scholarship type 1.

Type 2 : Scholarships that can be applied without applying "The Privately Financed International Student Scholarship Candidates Application System"
This type of scholarship doesn't have limitation of number of applicants for each university. Applicants can apply without selection by university.
When the foundation provides information, we inform at this website, through faculties that international students belong to, on the boards of Inbound and Outbound Student Affairs Office and International Student, and Center for Japanese Language and Culture.
As of some of the scholarship, applicants have to apply to the office of their faculties. Please be careful about the deadline because it can be different in each faculty.
As of the other scholarships, they have to apply directly to the foundation by post or on the website. Here is the current information of scholarships.
